This year in a welcome collaboration, the event will be run in association with the Stationers’ Company and sponsored by Garbutt & Elliott and Ad:Venture.

Last year’s event welcomed key figures in the creative and digital community and advocates from the public sector such as Leader of Leeds City Council, Councillor Judith Blake, and members of the Leeds 2023 campaign to make Leeds the European City of Culture. (This year we expect to hear what has become the exciting alternative!)

2017 speakers included Henri Murison, from Northern Powerhouse Partnership who spoke to guests about the continued strength of the North in these particular industries and departing CDi President, John Watson, on innovation in the North.

This year's event on 1 August 2018, starting at 12pm and finishing at 2pm will again include brief presentations from key industry figures and an opportunity to network over an informal lunch.
