Following the huge success of the Visual Media Conference 2017, Creative Digital Industries (CDi) are delighted to announce it will be returning to the Rose Bowl in Leeds on 27 March 2018.

The free one-day event, which gained excellent feedback on its speaker sessions, live demos and exhibitions alongside its sell-out record attendance levels last year, is setting its sights on the hype around Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Consumer Behaviour as topics for 2018.

The conference, which is aimed at all those within the creative, digital, print and packaging industries, will also have the use of colour as a top subject for 2018, and its effectiveness in marketing and communications.

Attendees, who will receive their own set of VR goggles to take away after the event, will be treated to another line up of world class speakers with authoritative case studies that they can apply practically to their own industries.

The conference, which has seen speakers from HP, Coca Cola, Blippar, Jaguar Land Rover and Nestle in past years, will also aim to address key challenges in marketing communications such as whether we can harness all this ‘new’ technology and whether it can be monetised to improve consumer response rates.

As well as the chance to engage with these key topics, attendees can also expect the usual array of excellent exhibitions, demos and the chance to network with like-minded people.

CDi President, Robert McClements said, “Encouraged by the levels of interest from attendees and speakers, we’ve been able to curate an event for 2018 that will bring the very best of international brand stories and some amazing on-line innovation as well as the psychology of effective marketing communications.

“But, it’s not a tech driven event for the sake of tech – it’s about seeing world-class speakers presenting authoritative case studies with genuine ‘take away’ stuff for you to use.”
